"If there was ever a dive resort synomous with paradise, it would be Wakatobi. Located in southeast Indonesia, this small island resort offers incredible diving from either their land based operation or their live aboard, the Pelagian."
In a peaceful and undeveloped corner of Indonesia, just a little over two hours by private air service from Bali, you’ll find yourself at the center of the world’s most extraordinary dive areas. Wakatobi Dive Resort is on a small island called Tolandono in Southeast Sulawesi.

Home of the world's most pristine reefs, Wakatobi offers what many claim to be the "best diving in the world." Wakatobi resort alone boasts more than forty dive sites and the first class dive yacht, Pelagian offers access to dozens more. Between the two, you’ll visit new, unexplored areas and encounter more marine life, with a greater variety, than you’ve ever seen before.

In Wakatobi you can enjoy diving 365 days a year. There is no period or season unsuitable for diving. The climate is drier than in other parts of Indonesia, and the location is quite protected by the surrounding reefs and islands. For 99% of the year, the air temperature ranges between 26 - 30 degrees Celsius. On the water temperature front, the warmest water in Wakatobi is found in the upper water layer around late October, when temps may reach a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. The coolest time falls in the later half of August with a minimum temperature of almost 26 degrees Celsius.
