The Philippines consists of 7200 islands, where of only a few thousand are inhabited. The majority of the population live on one of eleven islands, where Luzon in the north is the largest. The islands are all very mountainous and the only flatlands are found on Luzon and Mindanao in the south. You can visit the Philippines all around the year but the best diving you will get during the period from October to June.
