Kuredu Island Resort

Kuredu is an island where the diving sits on your doorstep and fine white sand gives way to a turquois reef.  You will know that you are in paradise from the moment you step off the sea plane, kick off your shoes and let your feet touch the warm sand that covers the entire resort, including the restaurants.

Perched in the northern tip of the Lhaviyani Atoll and just a short sea plane transfer from Male, the resort focuses on personal service and laid back fun.

From cosy beach bungalows to elegant water villas, all accommodation types have been strategically built. The attention to detail is evident especially in the individually crafted wooden water villas. Kuredu boasts a number of restaurants, bars and the all inclusive packages help the week to flow stress free.

The on site spa is a popular place after a day spent diving, windsurfing, kite boarding, water skiing, sailing – or just relaxing on the beach. Located in the heart of the resort is a shopping area, bar, the hotel reception, a watersports centre and the dive centre. 
 

Water Villas

Fabulous Villas on wooden columns in the north-west side of the lagoon with a romantic view of the sun set from the secluded furnished veranda, sun deck and steps down to the beautiful lagoon.

From the veranda you can watch baby reef- sharks learning to hunt or small rays resting in the quiet lagoon. These Villas have a spacious bedroom and sitting area exquisitely furnished with wrought iron furniture with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and bathrooms with walk in shower overlooking the turquoise lagoon.

The Sangu Resort has a beautiful bar and restaurant in traditional Maldivian style and separate check in at the Sangu hospitality reception. Patrons in the Sangu Villas have Sangu Restaurant as their allocated restaurant and also the option to eat in the other main restaurants – Koamas and The ‘O’ Restaurants with same day table reservations.

Due to safety reasons we do not accept reservations for the Water Villas for guests below 12 years of age.

The magnificent Sangu Water Villa Suite with prime location at the west end with a 360 degree ocean view of mother nature at its best!! King size four post bed in teak wood and a comfortable sitting group. Large outdoor decking area partly shaded with sun loungers and a romantic jacuzzi bath.

Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa

Romantic Villas with views of the Indian Ocean line the south-west beach, just a few steps from the beautiful lagoon. These 76 m2 villas have a spacious bedroom and sitting area that are exquisitely furnished with wrought iron furniture.  Enjoy the special open-air bathrooms with walk-in shower.

Each Villa has a spacious secluded garden with a wooden deck and a Jacuzzi and all have a furnished verandah where you can sit to enjoy the beautiful views. 

Guests staying in Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villas have Sangu Restaurant as their allocated restaurant and also have the option of dining in any other main restaurant with a same day table reservation.

This room category is not available for reservation with children below 12 years of age.

Beach and Garden bungalows

The Beach bungalows are located beside the 'O' Beach Villas in the north eastern part of the island. The Garden bungalows are located just behind the 'O' Beach Villas and are the same as the Beach Bungalows in design and facilities offered. They are just a few steps away from the beach.

The bungalows can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.  There is an option between double and twin beds.

These bungalows could be booked for families in all age groups and Bonthi is the main restaurant for all their meals.
