Seastar Dive centre

Seastar Watersports was established in 1991 and was Aqaba's first PADI Instructor Development Centre and has been under British management since that time. They have trained thousands of divers, from beginners to Instructor level from around the world and from many varied organizations such as the British Armed Forces and local and international corporations.

Seastar offers the full range of PADI courses from entry to professional level, and TDI technical courses up to advanced trimix. Along with PADI courses, they offer shore diving, boat diving on request and full guided technical dives. Whether you are on holiday wanting to experience diving in the Red Sea, take a PADI course or go technical diving, Seastar offers it all!  Experience the beautiful Red Sea diving without the crowds!  Seastar guarantee you the best professionalism, highest safety standards and the best diving Aqaba has to offer!

Aqaba's Marine Park lies 10km south of the Aqaba city stretching all the way to the Saudi Arabia border, totally 26 km long coastline.  All the dive sites are along the shore and are easily accessible which makes shore diving another easy option.  Aqaba have almost no offshore reefs so a boat is not necessary to explore Aqaba's beautiful coral reefs and wrecks.

Seastar Watersports is located at the beginning of the Marine Park at First Bay.  The Dive Center, Club Murjan, has a large swimming pool, toilets, changing rooms and a restaurant.  They also have their our own "House Reef" called Cazar Reef, which is only a 50 meter walk away.  All the other dive sites are only a five minute drive from the dive center.

Seastar schedule their dives at 10:00  and 14:00, as well as provide a third dive option at midday.  After each dive you will return to the dive center and this allows you to relax by the pool or have some lunch between the dives.  If you only want to do one dive, we provide a free morning transfer to the dive center, a free midday transfer to and from the dive center and a free afternoon transfer to return to your hotel.  So you can do a morning dive or afternoon dive, two dives or even three dives a day if you want.
