Dive, cancellation & travel InsuranceWe recommend that you have both travel and dive insurance. For trips on liveaboards and most dive centres around the world, you will be required to prove that you have insurance and/or leave your insurance number. The first step is to check with your home insurance company to see if you are already covered, or can add coverage through them to a nominal price. Quite often insurance is included when you choose to pay for your trip with a credit or bankcard. Ask your bank for more details of what is included. Cancellation insurance ERV The unexpected can always happen. Your child falls ill, too much work forces you to postpone your holiday, rain storms hit the sunshine paradise or trouble breaks out at your destination. In any of these situations, you will be very pleased you have cancellation insurance. You will get your money back from ERV as long as you have a medical certificate that confirms the reason for the cancellation. You get the certificate from your doctor, empoyer och if UD discourages from traveling to the country that you were about to visit. ERV Insurance ERV´s travel insurance is a compliment to your home insurance, and is designed to cover the holes in your home insurance. This means that you get a protection against most things that can happen during a trip, without having double insurance. ERV has insurance that protects you in case of an accident during an active holiday (ie. diving, climbing). This insurance gives you compensation if your diving equipment is destoyed, if you need to be rescued, if you are injured, or if something else unexpected happens.
For travelers who are going to travel up to 45 days and have a home insurance with travel insurance included. ERV´s insurance complements your home insurance travel protection. Who can buy the insurance?
Travel insurance Sport Suitable for travelers who already have home insurance, but need to cover the holes in it. Suits those who are going on a ski, golf, diving, or other sport holiday which requires carrying equipment. This insurance is the same as a basic travel insurance but with a few additional steps. For example, it includes rental of sports equipment up to 10 000 SEK if your skiing or dive bag is delayed. Cash back for unused activity costs such as a boat diving if you get sick or injured. Complete Travel insurance Suitable for travelers who are going to travel and have no home insurance with travel insurance. Complete Travel insurance is the most comprehensive insurance ERV has. You can also sign up for an insurance for longer periods, for up to one year. This insurance can be signed by persons who are registered in the Nordic region. Price example per person 1 week holiday: 995 SEK
Travel insurance Smart Suitable for travelers who have no home insurance or are away for more than 45 days. Comprehensive medical expense insurance, this insurance lacks that extra something that is in the insurance Complete. Travel insurance Smart is equivalent to your home insurance travel insurance, has lower or no deductibles, and is available with or without baggage coverage. This insurance can be signed by persons who are registered in the Nordic region. Price example per person 1 week holiday: 400 SEK
Travel Insurance Extreme Suitable for people who are going to do something risky in the journey not covered by our insurance policies, such as diving deeper than 30 meters, free-diving or running a marathon.
