Their Shagra village offer you a variety of diving possibilities including; unlimited diving on the house reef, truck dives, night dives, and boat dives to world-famous dive sites such as Elphinstone and the Fury Shoals.

The most common dive package in Marsa Shagra is the five day dive package with 2 guided dives per day by truck and unlimited house reef diving.
For your first visit you receive a guided orientation dive around the bay. After the orientation guests are free to enjoy the unlimited diving set-up. This is definitely one of the most unique aspects of the dive camp; the freedom to dive in buddy pairs at your own pace and at the time of your choosing. Tanks are readily accessible so that guests simply take a tank, sign out on the whiteboard, and then go.

At the house reef you will find:

  • Zodiac on-standy by for 6 different patterns within the house reef
  • Personal storage bins for equipment in-front of the bay
  • Hangers provided for wet-suits and BCD’S
  • Fresh water basins in dive shade for rinsing equipment
  • Buddy-board for individuals

The trucks travel twice a day from to dive the sharms, marsas, and reef walls along the coastline. Easy access to the reef makes these areas ideal for shore based diving. Trucks are departing between 0700h to 0800h and 1330h to 1400h. These dives are guided and the guide will give a briefing upon arrival at the site.

  • Coastal reef reaches a maximum depth of 55 meters
  • Some sites are heavily pitted with caves and swim-throughs
  • First dive departure between 0700h to 0800h
  • Second dive departure between 1300h to 1400h

This program allows divers to explore off-shore reefs by high-performance speedboat. The boat diving program covers many famous off-shore reefs. This option is available based on sea conditions and to a min. 4 persons (min.6 persons for Elphinstone). If you like this option for a day or two we recommend you to upgrade to this when in Marsa Shagra and pay locally. Off-shore sites from Shagra include: Elphinstone (only 30-40 minutes), Sharm Abu Dabbab, Shabb Abu Dabbab, Shabb Abu Dabab, Nelson Reef, Egla Top, Nemo City.
